Source Priority
When researching factual information, we prioritize sources in this order:
- 1 Current official Zaxby's website pages
- 2 Current restaurant-specific Zaxby's pages
- 3 Official Zaxby's menu, nutrition and allergen documents
- 4 Official Zaxby's app and ordering information
- 5 Other reliable sources when first-party information is unavailable
Third-party information is not used to override newer official information.
Menu Items
An item is presented as current only when there is sufficient evidence that it remains part of the current menu or an active limited-time offer.
Historical or discontinued products should be clearly identified rather than mixed into the current menu.
Prices
Prices can vary by restaurant.
When publishing prices, we use identifiable current menu or restaurant information where possible and avoid presenting one restaurant's price as a guaranteed nationwide price.
Nutrition and Allergens
Nutrition and allergen values should come from current official information whenever available.
We do not calculate missing nutrition values or infer that an item is allergen-free because an allergen is not shown.
Limited-Time Offers
Limited-time products and deals are reviewed separately from permanent menu items.
When an offer has no confirmed nationwide end date, we do not invent one.
Historical Information
Older information can be useful for explaining discontinued products or previous programs, but historical information must be clearly labeled and must not be presented as current.
Corrections
When reliable newer information shows that published content is incorrect or outdated, the page should be corrected.
